TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Abdirizak Abukar, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Jr.)

Junior Abdirizak Abukar showcased his speed, breaking the school record in the 100 meter dash (10.95, 4th place). The Lewiston, Maine native won the 200 meter dash (22.18, 1st place) earning a Division III New England Championship berth in both events. Abukar also contributed to the 3rd place 4x100 meter relay (43.51, 3rd place).

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Dylan Dickey, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Sr.)

Senior Dylan Dickey continued his dominance in the throws as the Laconia, N.H. native set a new school record in the discus with a mark of 40.08m (131'6"), earning a sixth-place finish. In the javelin, he threw 55.05m (180'7") to secure fourth. Dickey leads the conference in both events.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Isaac Keresey, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)

First-Year Isaac Keresey impressed in the 400-meter hurdles, securing a runner-up finish with a time of 58.21 seconds, which makes the Pittsfield, Maine native now the conference leader in the event.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Brady Rogers, Colby-Sawyer - led the Chargers in the field and in general in his first ever meet with the team. He finished sixth in Javelin with a throw of 46.99m and followed that with a ninth place finish in High Jump with a jump of 1.75m at the SNHU Spring Invite.

Pierre Paul Labossiere, Emmanuel - Placed first in the triple jump at 13.39 meters (qualified for DIII New England Championships) and 12th in the high jump at 1.70 meters.

Christopher Margiatto, Regis - Earned a fifth-place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:00.08.

Justin Thuotte, Regis - Led the way for the Pride in the field the Tufts Snowflake Classic, securing first place in the long jump with a mark of 6.33m, edging out the next competitor by 0.08m.
