SWIMMER OF THE WEEK Kristian Adlianitski, Norwich (So.) Sophomore Kristian Adlianitski spearheaded the Cadets to a second-place showing at the Roger Williams Invitational. He opened his day by swimming the fastest split (21.57) of the 200 medley relay team that posted a third-place finish. He followed that up with his first individual showcase of the day, clocking in at 1:49.83 to finish second in the 200 yard freestyle. Adlianitski then finished fourth in the 50 yard freestyle with a 22.78 effort. He came in second again in his next event, finishing his day with a 5:04.39 time in the 500 yard freestyle. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Drew Bylow, Norwich (Fr.) First-year Drew Bylow kicked off his morning at the Roger Williams Invitational by swimming the first leg of the third-place 200 medley relay team. In his first individual event, he came in sixth overall in the 200 freestyle with a 1:51.53 effort before checking in at fifth in the 100 freestyle on 50.92. Bylow had his best individual performance in the 100 backstroke, clocking in at 56.27 to finish second. He concluded his day by swimming the first leg of the 400 freestyle relay that came in fifth. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Cody Werner, Regis - Led the Regis men with three event victories in Friday night's meet at Gordon College, starting with a solid victory in the 100 butterfly with a season-best time of 56.47 seconds. He then cruised to victory in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.33, followed by a win in the 50 butterfly in 25.79 seconds.
Aidan Hebb, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Won two events for USJ during a double-dual meet against Husson and Plymouth State. Hebb won the 100 yard breaststroke for USJ, breaking the freshman program record with a time of 1:04.39. Also won the 100 yard IM, touching the wall in 59.39 seconds.
