GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

WEEK 2 HONOR ROLL

Anthony Barreira, Albertus Magnus (Fr., M/F - Beacon Falls, Conn.) - Barreira enjoyed a seven-point week for the Falcons, scoring three goals to go along with an assist. The rookie scored once in the Falcons' 4-0 shutout win over Dean College before concluding the week with a five-point performance (two goals and an assist) in the 4-3 overtime loss to Pine Manor.

Joseph Thongsythavong, Norwich (Fr., F - Salem, Mass.) - Thongsythavong notched his first collegiate hat trick to lift Norwich to a 3-1 win over Plymouth State on Saturday. He accounted for every goal to help lead the Cadets' second-half come back. He now has four goals on the season.

Hayden Burbank, St. Joseph (Conn.) (So., M - Southington, Conn.) - Burbank factored in both goals in USJ men's soccer's only match of the week, a 2-1 triumph on the road at Medgar Evers Saturday. Burbank got the Blue Jays on the board in the 26th minute with his first goal of the season before assisting on what would be the game-winning goal just three minutes later. The three-point match by Burbank would help secure a perfect 2-0-0 start to the 2019 season for the Blue Jays as they escaped Brooklyn with the 2-1 victory.
