MOUNT IDA COLLEGE MEN'S LAX HOLDS COAT DRIVE FOR EPILEPSY FOUNDATION

Newton, MA - The Mount Ida College men's lacrosse program recently completed a coat drive to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of New England coming at a good time of year during harshest cold stretch to the climate in years.  The coats will be donated to Savers and will head to the Epilepsy Foundation of New England this week.

The Epilepsy Foundation New England Donation Center is an LLC of Epilepsy Foundation Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire & Maine (EFMARINHME). All the donations gathered play an imperative part in helping fund the programs with proceeds to provide free services and programs to epilepsy sufferers and their families.

"This is the first time the team has taken part in a coat drive for community service," said 11th year Head Coach Andrew Fink.  "It's great to give back to others who don't have a coat this winter and it's always important for your program to get involved and help others in a tough time of year.  This is a great way for us to kick-off our 2013 season."

Fink, his staff and the Mustangs start up action at hosting non-conference foe Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island on February 27th, 2013 with game time slated for 4:30 p.m.
