CONCORD, N.H. - Host New England College repeated once again as they claimed the 2024 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship at Concord Country Club in Concord, N.H. this afternoon after posting a 36-hole team score of 620 (+60). The Pilgrims find themselves once again earning the league's automatic qualifier into the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Tournament, which will be held in the Spring.

Leading the way for the 2024 champions was first-year Ryan Waring, who took home medalist honors with a two-day total of 149 (+9). Waring's outstanding individual performance resulted him taking home Golfer and Rookie of the Year honors. Right behind him in the runner-up slot was Timothy Carlson, who totaled a score of 150 (+10) and earned himself First-Team All Conference honors. Vesse-Wincent Lampen was the team's third top scorer with a 160 (+20), finishing eighth and earning himself All-Conference Second Team Honors. Bryce Sturm tied for 10th with a score of 163 (+23), placing himself on the Second Team.  Finishing in a three-way tie for 13th to round out the Pilgrims successful two-day performance was Graham Hassan, who scored a 165 (+25). Head Coach Travis Banga was voted Coach of the Year for the second year in a row by his peers.

Saint Joseph's (Maine) was this year's runner up with 646 (+86) as they were led by their two First-Team All Conference members in Drew Mathieu (+15) and Braden Camire (+17)who carded a 155 and 157 for fourth and fifth place, respectively.

Finishing in third was Albertus Magnus with 664 (+104), who was led by Second-Team member Charles Kristofak as he carded a 161 (+21) for ninth place for the Falcons.

Cooper Bertrand led the way for Norwich as he totaled a 158 (+18) for the fourth-place Cadets, placing him at the sixth spot individually.

Emmanuel (+115) and Elms (+135) took the fifth and six spots. The Saints were led by Ian Reynolds, who carded a 159 (+19) for seventh place while the Blazers' Miguel Pearce scored a 163 (+23), tying NEC's Sturm for 10th place. Both Reynolds and Pearce earned All-Conference Second Team honors.

Mitchell College's Shamus McLean had a third-place finish for the Mariners, who placed seventh as a team, scoring a 153 (+13). Rounding out the final spot was Dean, who was led by Benjamin Godburn. He would card a 179 (+39) for the Bulldogs.

Emmanuel College was this year's recipient of the Institutional Sportsmanship Award as voted by their peers.
