GOLFER OF THE WEEK Michael Keefe, Dean (So.) Dean sophomore Michael Keefe captured medalist honors at the 2023 GNAC Golf Championship this week. He shot a 151 (+11) at the 36-hole event held at the New Haven Country Club. He finished day one of the event with the low score of 76 (+6) and improved on that in round two, posting a 75 (+5), which tied for the low score in the entire tournament. His victory also earned him GNAC Golfer of the Year honors. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Cooper Bertrand, Norwich (Fr.) Norwich freshman Cooper Bertrand was instrumental in the Cadets second place finish in the 2023 GNAC Golf Championship. He was Norwich’s top golfer and placed fifth overall with a 36-hole total of 161 (+21). He carded an 81 (+11) on day one of the event and followed up with an 80 (+10) on day two. |

Braden Camire, Saint Joseph’s (Maine) (Fr.) Saint Joseph’s (Maine) freshman Braden Camire had a top-five finish at his first-ever GNAC Golf Championship, turning in a two-day score of 161 (+21). He shot an 80 (+10) in the opening round of the championship and followed that up with an 81 (+11) on day two. He was the lowest first-year scorer at the championship, earning him Rookie of the Year honors. |
