FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WINTHROP, Mass.  Rivier University claimed the top seed in next week's GNAC Women's Volleyball Tournament with a perfect 13-0 mark in league play, as they get set to host eighth-seeded Saint Joseph's College of Maine in Tuesday's quarterfinals at 7PM.

Simmons University (11-2 GNAC) used Saturday's regular-season finale to best recent GNAC powerhouse Johnsn & Wales University, 3-1, to capture the No. 2 seed via tiebreak for the Sharks' first victory over the Wildcats since 2014.
