TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ashley Keleher, Colby-Sawyer (Sr.)

Senior Ashley Keleher set a new Colby-Sawyer indoor record in the 400m dash this week at the UMass Boston Beacon Invitational. She won the event with a time of 58.2, setting the Chargers’ record by more than a second. Her time places her 10th on the NCAA Division III Indoor Qualifying List.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Cynthia Brito, Emmanuel (Jr.)

Emmanuel junior Cynthia Brito set a new personal best in the triple jump this week at the UMass Boston Beacon Invitational. She cleared the 10m mark for the first time, officially measuring in at 10.01m (32’10.25”), good for third place at the event. She also finished 10th in the long jump with a mark of 4.35m (14’3.25”).

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Breya Whitman, Saint Joseph’s (Maine) (Fr.)

First-year Breya Whitman had three top-five finishes for Saint Joseph’s (Maine) at the USM Alumni Open this week. Her top performance came in the triple jump as she registered a 9.38m (30’9.25”) mark to finish second. She finished fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.47m (4’9.75”), and fifth in the 55m hurdles with a time of 11.23.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Emma Krantz, Emmanuel - Finished in fourth place in the 800m at the UMass Boston Beacons Season Opener after a time of 2:47.09.

Brooklyn Goff, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Placed first in the 300m run with a time of 46.41 and third in the 55m Hurdles with a time of 9.40 at the USM Alumni Open. Her 300 time set a new program record.

Abby O'Brien, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Finished second in the weight throw with a distance of 12.62m (41'5") to set a new Saint Joseph's (Maine) program record and placed 10th in the shot put with a distance of 7.29m (23'11").
