BOSTON – Emmanuel emerged as the 2024 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Indoor Track & Field Champion after a tight meet at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center on Sunday (Feb. 18).

The Saints earned 135.5 points to take the title, barely edging out runner-up Colby-Sawyer, which collected 126 points. Regis finished in third as the only other team to cross the century mark with 117 points, while Saint Joseph's (Maine) and Lasell earned 60.5 and 48 points, respectively.

Depth was the key to Emmanuel's title as it had only one student-athlete finish as an individual champion. That gold medal went to Desiree Robinson who won the high jump, clearing 1.51m (4'11.5").

When it came to individual champions, the GNAC Championship runner-up Chargers led the way. Securing three golds on her own was Ashley Keleher who finished first in the 60m dash, 200m dash, and triple jump. She checked in at 7.98 in the 60m final and 25.76 in the 200m, while her mark of 11.31m (37'1.25") was good enough to claim the tiple jump title. Adriana Nadeau dominated the distance races, winning the mile, 3K, and 5K. She ran the mile in 5:47.14 with 11:45.40 and 19:45.71 times in the 3K and 5K, respectively. Heather Hanson also earned an individual gold as the 800m champion with a time of 2:34.58. The Chargers also won the distance medley relay with a time of 14:36.28.

Regis had two individual champions, one on the track and one in the field. Sprinter Aleyo Amasa-Titus won the 400m dash with a time of 1:02.01 to give Regis its individual track champion. Meanwhile, Anastazia Copeland won the weight throw by over a meter, marking 13.92m (45'8") in the event. However, those weren't the only gold medals the Pride would claim as their 4x400m relay team finished first in 4:20.28 to edge out Emmanuel for first place.

Saint Joseph's (Maine) and Lasell claimed two individual champions of their own.

For the Monks, both those titles went to Brooklyn Goff. Goff was earned 10 points apiece as the top performer in the 60m hurdles and the long jump. She posted the lone sub-10 time in the hurdles with a time of 9.56 and registered a 5.01m (16'5.25") mark to win the long jump.

Both of the Lasers' golds came in the field events with Julianna Huckans clearing 2.60m (8'6.25") to win the pole vault and Riley Silvia setting the top mark in the shot put with a 10.34m (33'11.25") toss.

All the individual champions, along with the other medalists will be named to the GNAC All-Conference Team with the major awards voted on at a later time by the league's head coaches.
