Fifteen GNAC Women’s Soccer Student-Athletes Earn USC All-Region; JWU’s DeRoehn Named All-America

USC ALL-REGION TEAMS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fifteen Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's soccer student-athletes were honored by the United Soccer Coaches this fall with postseason awards. Highlighting the group was Johnson & Wales' Emily DeRoehn, who earned the highest honor among the group with a selection to the USC NCAA Division III All-America Third Team.

DeRoehn, who was the 2023 GNAC Defensive Player of the Year, was also one of three GNAC representatives on the USC NCAA Division III All-Region I First Team. Joining her were her teammate Trina Capezza and Emmanuel's Sarah Dullaghan.

The Saints and Wildcats were also represented on the USC All-Region I Second Team. The Saints selections were Gaby Baker, Annebel Balogh de Galantha, and Maya Daryanani, while the JWU trio of Angelina Oliveira, Madison Sanborn, and Sophia Warburton represented the Wildcats. 2023 GNAC Offensive Player of the Year Bridget O'Connell from Colby-Sawyer was also a Second Team selection, as was Grace Rava from Lasell.

Rounding out the GNAC honorees were four USC NCAA Division III All-Region I Third Team picks. They were Payton Bridge from Regis, Ciara Horan from Emmanuel, Bobbi O'Guin from Lasell, and Riley Paul from Colby-Sawyer.
