GNAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week Report #5

RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Hayden Goyette, Colby-Sawyer (Jr.)

Colby-Sawyer junior Hayden Goyette was the top GNAC finisher at the Keene State Invitational this weekend, placing 23rd overall in the field of more than 200 runners. He completed the 8K course in 26:52, helping the Chargers take 13th in the team competition.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Jacob Pelletier, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (So.)

Sophomore Jacob Pelletier finished 23rd at the Maine State Championship 8K on Saturday (Sept. 30). He completed the course in 27:15 leading Saint Jospeh’s (Maine) seventh-place finish in the 12-team event.


WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Braeden Laframboise, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Won his second consecutive meet, winning the Founding Tree Invitational men's 8K. Shattered USJ's program record in the 8K, crossing the line in a time of 27:21.
