ENC, Colby-Sawyer Advance to GNAC Men’s Tennis Championship

GNAC MEN'S TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL

WINTHROP, Mass. – No. 1 seed Eastern Nazarene and No. 2 seed Colby-Sawyer will face off in the 2024 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Tennis Championship after both squads picked up semifinal wins over the weekend. They will meet for the championship match on Saturday, April 27 at 1 p.m. at the Winchester Indoor Tennis Club.

Both teams swept their way into the title match with the Lions defeating No. 4 seed Norwich and the Chargers taking down No. 3 seed University of Saint Joseph (Conn.).

The winner of next Saturday's championship match will earn the title of the 2024 GNAC Men's Tennis Champion.

QUINCY, Mass.- The No. 1 seed Eastern Nazarene College men's tennis team defeated fourth-seeded Norwich 5-0 Saturday at the ENC Tennis Courts to punch its ticket to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championship match for the fourth year in a row.

NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Chargers men's tennis team beat the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) by a 5-0 final to earn another trip to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championship.

Rapid Recap:

  • The Chargers held a 3-0 advantage after doubles as sophomore Peyton Meuse and junior Aidan Jensen picked up an 8-5 win in the number one doubles, while sophomore Matt Gaudioso and first-year Markus Rankins picked up an 8-5 win at the number three doubles.
  • In singles action, sophomore Ashton Meuse earned a win at the number four while sophomore Zsombor Homonnay clinched the win for the Chargers at the number one.
