Eastern Nazarene Earns Top Seed in GNAC Men’s Tennis Tournament

GNAC MEN’S TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL

WINTHROP, Mass. – Eastern Nazarene wrapped up a perfect Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) regular season this week to secure the No. 1 seed in the upcoming GNAC Men’s Tennis Championship Tournament.

The Lions, riding their 4-0 GNAC (10-7 overall) record, will be in search of their fourth consecutive title.

They will host No. 4 seed Norwich in the semifinal round of the tournament on Saturday, April 20. The Cadets went 1-3 in GNAC play (4-5 overall).

Colby-Sawyer earned the No. 2 seed this year with their 3-1 conference (4-4 overall) record and will host No. 4 seed University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in the other semifinal on Saturday. The Blue Jays went 2-2 in GNAC competition with an 8-7 overall record.

The two semifinal winners will advance to the 2024 GNAC Championship match on Saturday, April 27. The Championship will be held at Winchester Indoor Tennis Club with the winner being crowned 2024 GNAC Men’s Tennis Champion.

#4 Norwich at #1 Eastern Nazarene, 1 p.m.
#3 University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) at #2 Colby-Sawyer, 1 p.m.

Championship – Saturday, April 27
(at Winchester Indoor Tennis Club – Winchester, Mass.)
