GNAC Men's Tennis Report: Week 2

FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 14 - 21

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Julius Lowman, Colby-Sawyer (Sr., Bavaria, Germany) - Lowman continues to impress in the number one singles slot, going 6-0 over the team's Orlando trip. 

Keagan Bakke, Norwich (Fr. - Gun Barrel, Texas) - Bakke had an impressive collegiate debut, sweeping No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-0 vs. Castleton this past Wednesday. Bakke also teamed with Sebastian Mucha to take No. 1 doubles 8-6. Bakke and Mucha trailed 6-3, before rallying to win five straight games and take the victory. 

 

GNAC HONOR ROLL
 
Sebastian Torres, Regis (Sr. - San Juan, Puerto Rico) - Torres won in both singles and doubles during Regis's GNAC opener at Albertus Magnus Saturday. First, he teamed with Mitchell Weiner at number one doubles for an 8-5 victory, improving his doubles record in the spring to 5-1. Torres then moved to 5-1 in singles so far this spring with a straight-set victory (6-4, 6-2) at number two singles.
