SWIMMER OF THE WEEK Cody Werner, Regis (So.) Sophomore Cody Werner earned three individual event victories, representing the Pride in a double-dual sweep over Colby Sawyer and Elms on Saturday (Jan. 6). Werner was victorious in both the 500- and 1000-yard freestyles, finishing with times of 5:22.71 and 11:05.64 respectively. Then, he earned his third individual victory in the 100-yard butterfly where he swam in 57.16 seconds. The sophomore capped the meet off by anchoring Regis’ 200-yard freestyle relay, posting a 50-yard free split of 24.49 seconds. |

DIVER OF THE WEEK Liam Austin, Regis (So.) Sophomore Liam Austin broke the school record for six-dive score in three meter diving for the Pride on Saturday (Jan. 6). Austin posted an overall score of 193.60, which was almost 40 points higher than the previous record that was established last year. The sophomore also finished first again in the one-meter diving event with a six-score of 189.75, helping the Pride earn victories over Colby-Sawyer and Elms. |
