SWIMMER OF THE WEEK Benjamin Stark, Norwich (Sr.) Senior Benjamin Stark swam with some of the top competition this past weekend at the three-day Gompei Invitational at WPI. The senior finished second in two events (500-yard freestyle and the 1650-yard freestyle) with times of 4:42.18 (school record) and 16:29.96. He also finished fifth out of 30 swimmers in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:43.60 and seventh in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:59.19. Stark also swam legs for his team three times, helping his teams finish ninth, 10th, and 11th.

DIVER OF THE WEEK Liam Austin, Regis (So.) Sophomore Liam Austin set records for the Pride this week. On Friday (Dec. 1), Austin broke two school records in two one-meter diving events with scores of 144.50 and 223.05. Then, the next day, the sophomore broke another school record once again with a score of 387.82.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Cody Werner, Regis – Collected several victories during the two-day Regis Invitational. Werner finished in first place in the 100-yard butterfly (53.78), the 100-yard backstroke (58.67), and the 50-yard butterfly (24.24), which were all personal best times. Then, he won the 200-yard butterfly with a season-best time of 2:00.11.
