GNAC Men's Golf Report: Week 3

( FOR THE WEEK OF SEPT. 12 - 18 )

GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Trevor Flanagan, Saint Joseph's of Maine (Sr., Monmouth, Maine) - Flanagan tied for medalist honors with a 74 card in the UMF Invitational on Sunday after finishing tied for 12th with a 78 in the Thomas College Invitational on Saturday.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Matt Printup, Norwich (Fr.) - In the Cadets' first home invitational in over 20 years, Printup finished with an impressive 73 (+3) total while participating on Norwich's B team, tying for first in a 40-person field and leading Norwich's B team to a sixth place finish, while the A team finished first.

HONOR ROLL

Charles Kristofak, Albertus Magnus (So., West Hartford, Conn.) - Kristofak took the win at the Saints Invitational on Wednesday, shooting a four-over 76 to top the 20-person field. With Kristofak leading the way, Albertus claimed the top team prize at the event with a combined score of 313 (+25).

Shamar Wilson, Albertus Magnus (Fr., Montego Bay, Jamaica) - Wilson continued the hot start to his collegiate career, placing in a tie for second at the Saints Invitational on Wednesday. The freshman carded a 77 (+5) to finish one stroke shy of tying for medalist honors. Wilson's second-place showing helped the Falcons secure the team win at the event with a combined score of 313 (+25)
