Men's Tennis Topped by Regis

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College men's tennis team fell to Regis College by a final score of 7-2 Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action at the Trent J. Scott '96 Tennis Courts.

With the defeat, Curry falls to 0-9 overall on the season.

Senior David Monteiro (Fall River, Mass.) was victorious in both of his matches on the afternoon, winning 6-2, 6-3 at fifth singles after pairing up with junior Grant Palmer (Charlotte, N.C.) to prevail 8-3 at third doubles. 

The Pride, however, won each of the other five singles matches and two of the three doubles matches to claim the 7-2 victory.

Curry will return to the court to face Clark University at home on Thursday. First serves are scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
