Field Hockey Trumped at Rivier Saturday

NASHUA, N.H. - The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) field hockey team was trumped by the Rivier University Raiders, 3-1, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game on the road on Saturday afternoon at Joanne Merrill Field in Nashua, N.H. The Blue Jays struck first with a goal in the first quarter, but the Raiders scored once in each remaining quarter to account for the come-from-behind victory.

Field hockey returns back to play on Tuesday, October 25 for its final regular-season game of the 2022 season on the road at intrastate and GNAC rival Albertus Magnus College. The action is set to begin between the Blue Jays and Falcons at 3:30 p.m. at Celentano Field in New Haven, Conn.
