Women's Lacrosse Falls in Overtime to Norwich at Home on Wednesday Night, 12-11

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's lacrosse team dropped a heartbreaker in overtime to the visiting Norwich University Cadets in a hard-fought Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest on a misty Wednesday night at the USJ Lacrosse Field in West Hartford, Conn. Norwich's junior midfielder Leocadia Clark (Stowe, Vt.) found the back of the net 47 seconds into overtime to provide the game-winning goal for the Cadets. With the result, the Blue Jays have now dropped three-straight GNAC contests to dip to 6-5 overall and 2-5 in the conference on the season. Norwich, who has now won three out of its last four games, improved to 4-6 overall and 3-4 in GNAC play with the victory.
