Men's Tennis Tops Western Connecticut at Home Monday Afternoon, 7-2

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's tennis team topped the visiting Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) Wolves, 7-2, at home on a gorgeous Monday afternoon at the Elizabeth Ferry Speer Tennis Complex in West Hartford, Conn. USJ won two-of-three doubles matches and then claimed five-of-six singles matches to account for the triumph. With the victory, the Blue Jays improve to 8-5 overall in their inaugural 2022-23 campaign, while the Wolves drop to 3-7 with the setback.

Men's tennis has a quick turnaround and is back in action next on Tuesday on the road at Eastern Nazarene College for its second Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match of the 2023 season. First serve between the Blue Jays and Lions is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the ENC Tennis Courts in Quincy, Mass.
