Strong Second Half Lifts Women's Lacrosse Over Dean Wednesday, 15-7

FRANKLIN, Mass. - The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's lacrosse team used a strong second half to earn a pivotal win on the road over the Dean College Bulldogs, 15-7, Wednesday afternoon in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest held at Grant Field in Franklin, Mass. The Blue Jays outscored the Bulldogs 11-2 in the second stanza to turn a one-goal halftime deficit in to an eight-goal victory. Senior midfielder Makenzie Dinger (Hingham, Mass.) either scored or assisted on seven of USJ's 11 second-half goals to lead the charge. With the triumph, the Blue Jays improved to 8-5 overall on the 2023 season and 4-5 in GNAC play, while the Bulldogs slipped to 5-7 overall and 4-5 in the league with the setback.
