Falcons Soar Past Men’s Basketball

NASHUA, NH: Rivier men's basketball lost to Albertus Magnus College this afternoon in the Muldoon Center.   

THE BASICS:

- Score: Albertus Magnus 95, Rivier 69

- Records: Rivier (2-21, 0-15 GNAC), Albertus Magnus (14-8, 12-3 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Riv battled throughout the whole game but was unable to surpass Albertus Magnus. Nikolas Pignone (Stoneham, MA) was the leading scorer for the Raiders with 22 points. Adam Razzaboni (Brookline, NH) came off the bench to add 10 points for Riv. Colin Boucher (North Reading, MA) also scored 10 points for the Raiders and had six rebounds.

- The Falcons had four players who were able to score double digits today. Saikwon Williams recorded 14 points, Jacqual Gertrude earned 11 points, and Antonio Bonilla and Robby Simmons each put up 10 points.

- Albertus Magnus shot 70.0% from the free throw line and Rivier shot 53.8% from the line.
