HOW IT HAPPENED: Game One

-  This one was a low scoring affair, with both starting pitchers throwing well. Lancaster was the away team in game one and started the scoring off in the top of the second. The Chargers started the inning with a walk and a double. Both would come around to score on a passed ball and a single.

- Rivier would answer back with a run of their own in the bottom half of the second. Zach White (Long Beach, CA) would get the RBI on a sacrifice fly.

- The Raiders would go on to plate two runs in the bottom of the seventh to walk it off. After a Frank Gulezian (Derry, NH) single and a wild pitch, he got into scoring position. A walk later, White would lay down a perfect sacrifice bunt to move the two runners over. Now, with one out, Rivier had a runner, a second, and third. John Canto (Harwich, MA) would plate the tying run on a Sacrifice fly. The winning run would come around to score on the same play. While trying to advance to third, the cutoff man overthrew third base trying to get another out.

Ty Baker (Hudson, NH) would pick up the win after tossing 2.1 innings allowing just one hit, no earned, and four strikeouts. Their runs were manufactured after the inning started with two walks, followed by a double from White and a single from Jacob Plamondon (Manchester, NH) down the right-field line. White had one RBI on the double, with Plamondon getting two with his single.
