Janard Jones enters his third year overall in the GNAC and begins his second year in the conference as the Assistant Commissioner/Media Relations. He started his first year as the conference's Social Media Specialist in 2023-24.

Jones' primary responsibilities include oversight of the GNAC's media outlets on the webpage (thegnac.com) and social media sites (X, Instagram), administers conference award programs, and asissts with championship administration of the 20 GNAC championships.

Prior to the GNAC, he interned at Lesley University handling sport information duties during his undergraduate year (2021). He was a graduate assistant for sports information at GNAC member Lasell University (2021-2023), earning his Master’s in Sport Leadership.

Jones also holds an associate’s degree from Bunker Hill Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Salem State in Sport Management and was a member of the men’s basketball teams at both institutions.
