Coffey ran to a second place finish at the Pine Manor Invitational in 22:40 for her best time of the season.

Pierce ran to a first place finish at the Pine Manor Invitational on Thursday in a time of 21:07 to lead the Sharks to a first place team finish.

Eaton notched her first collegiate victory with a 21:20 effort to help Saint Joseph’s win its annual meet, the Runnin’ Monks Invitational 5K, on Saturday morning.

Runner of the Week
Joe DiSalvo (Derry, N.H.), Sophomore, Saint Joseph’s College (ME)
DiSalvo claimed his first NCAA individual victory with a 29:24 performance in the 2012 Runnin’ Monks Invitational 8K race at Saint Joseph’s on Saturday afternoon. DiSalvo won the meet in thrilling fashion, as the sophomore sprinted past the eventual runner-up finisher in the final stretch to clinch the victory by just hundredths of seconds.

Rookie of the Week
Alex Wesselcouch (Haddam, Conn), Freshman, Lasell College
In the 82 runner field at the Runnin’ Monks Invitational, Wesselcouch finished in fourth place overall, completing the race in 29:37, only 13 seconds of the top overall finisher. His fourth place finish was the top place for the Lasers, propelling them to third in the team standings in the 11 team field.
