FRANKLIN, Mass. – February 13, 2024 – Dean College senior men's basketball student-athlete AJ Weston (Kansas City, Mo.) has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.

The Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll and is in its 27th season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week. See the full team > HERE

Weston becomes the second Bulldog to be honored by D3hoops.com. Jordan Booker '20 was named to the Team of the Week on Feb. 5, 2020.

Weston averaged 34.5 points per game, shot 48.9% from the floor, 38.5% from beyond the arc and 95.2% from the free throw line in a 2-0 week for Dean. He played 103 out of 105 minutes as the Bulldogs were involved in a total of five overtime sessions during the week. Weston finished with a career-high 37 points, including a pair of game-winning free throws with four seconds to play, in Wednesday's 104-102 double overtime win at Mitchell. He went 12-of-18 from the floor, 5-of-6 from beyond the arc and 8-of-9 from the free throw line. The senior guard then played all 55 minutes to help Dean to a 104-103 triple overtime victory over Rivier. He finished with 32 points and made all 12 of his free throws. Weston made a game-tying layup as time was expiring in the first overtime to send the game into a second extra session.

The Bulldogs (8-15, 4-8 GNAC) will look to stay in the playoff hunt with a 7:30 p.m. road game at Johnson & Wales on Wednesday night.
