West Hartford, Conn.- The Dean College Bulldogs fell to the University of St. Joseph (Conn.) on Wednesday, dropping a 4-0 contest to a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) foe. Nina Lestrud struck next, scoring off a
Megan Strzepa assist earlier in the second.
Taya Valdez and
Maeve Foley finished out the scoring with a goal a piece in the second half.
Dean was led by
Maire Brown (Huntington, N.Y.), who finished with three shots, all on goal.
Zoe Coleman (Warwick, R.I.) also recorded three shots, with one on cage.
Mackenzie Fillion (New Bedford, Mass.) finished with nine saves on 13 shots on goal.
Dean will face Lasell next. The Bulldogs travel to the Lazers on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Newton, Mass.
