Boston, Mass. – Four different players scored multiple goals as the College of Mount Saint Vincent Men's Lacrosse team scored a season-high in tallies in an 18-9 road win at Emerson on Saturday afternoon. Cavan Valance (Glen Cove, N.Y.) led the scoring attack with five goals, while Rowan Frederick (Brooklyn, N.Y.) totaled six points for the Mount.

After Emerson opened the scoring at the 12:39 mark of the first period, Mike Shea (Congers, N.Y.) and Mike Gibbons (Floral Park, N.Y.) scored back-to-back goals at 12:02 and 10:35 to push the Dolphins in front 2-1.

From that point Emerson went on to outscore Mount Saint Vincent 4-2 over the remainder of the half to carry a slim 5-4 advantage into the intermission. The Dolphins outshot the Lions 29-18, but Emerson goalie Braden Campbell made eight stops in the first 30 minutes to help the home squad to the halftime lead.

The Dolphins came out of halftime and blew the game open after outscoring the Lions 10-3 in the third quarter. After the two teams traded tallies over the open minutes of the period, Mount Saint Vincent ripped off five straight tallies, including two from Valance.
