HANOVER, N.H. - March 22, 2019 - The Colby-Sawyer men's tennis team picked up a 5-4 victory over Endicott at the Boss Tennis Center on the campus of Dartmouth College Friday afternoon. 

Colby-Sawyer has won four-straight matches against the Gulls dating back to 2013. The Chargers are now 4-4 this season and will the program's first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match tomorrow at Suffolk. Endicott, which was selected to finish tied for second in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Preseason Poll drops to 3-4. The Gulls travel to Division II Saint Michael's tomorrow at noon. 

The Chargers took an important 2-1 advantage after doubles action. Matt Burke and Cam Lynch earned an 8-6 victory at the top doubles spot over Cooper Walters and Justin Toler. Julius Lowman and Alex Wright also won by an 8-6 score at No. 2 over Charles Book and Christos Papadopoulos. Endicott's point came in the third spot as Daniel Binkert and Collin Dinardo edged Erik Antonacci and Mike White in a tie-break 8-7 (7-4). 

Alex Wright continued to play well at the top singles flight and cruised to a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Book. Wright moved into sole possession of fourth on the all-time singles wins list with 49. He also moved into ninth by himself in doubles wins with 38. Matt Burke and Julius Lowman also won their singles matches in straight sets at the fourth and fifth flights, respectively. 

Daniel Rinkert defeated Mike White at No. 2 in straight sets, while Cooper Walters at No. 3 edged Cam Lynch in three sets. Papadopoulos picked up a 6-4, 7-6 (7-0) win at the sixth flight to give the Gulls another point.
