Team Size/Entries

There is not a maximum entries number that teams are limited to.

Scoring

There will be six (6) places scoring per event: 10-8-6-4-2-1.

Seeding

Preliminary heats will be seeded by rank order of performance with runners assigned randomly in each heat.  In the event that any of the top two seeds in a preliminary race are scratched, the preliminary heats will be re-seeded. Events including preliminary heats will advance heat winners and the next best times to the finals. The Honest Effort Rule has been removed.

Timing/Officials

The host shall secure the timing company and officials (Mass. Track & Field Officials Association). The scoring should produce separate GNAC, NAC and NECC champion for both genders, as well as an Inter-Conference overall champion for both genders.

Awards

All-Conference Team

For both the women and the men, the top finisher in each GNAC Championship event will be named to the GNAC All-Conference Team (Adopted April 2018).
