      <description>Emerson College lacrosse midfielder Maeghan Ross (So., Wrentham, Mass.) has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association Division III Pilgrim Region All-Region team.  Ross, who was the 2009 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year, was a second team selection, and was the only GNAC Player named to either of the first two teams.</description>

      <description>Kristin Coderre, a 5'10" sophomore goalie from Monson, Massachusetts, was selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 23rd. Coderre went a perfect 3-0 in net, recording 20 saves and a goal-against average of 5.00.  She began the week with four saves against Anna Maria College and then picked up 16 saves against Simmons College leading the Lasers to their first GNAC victory.</description>

      <description>Defending GNAC tournament champion Norwich has been chosen as the women's lacrosse preseason favorite of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in a vote conducted by the league's coaches. The Cadets, who were 4-1 in conference play and 11-5 overall earned the first ever GNAC women's lacrosse conference title, received four first place votes and a total of 45 points in the GNAC women's lacrosse preseason poll. The Cadets return six members of the first-team all-conference team, including GNAC tournament MVP junior midfielder Ally Daniels. Other first-team all-conference selections include attackers Ashley Haviland and Chelsea Martin, midfielder Kathleeen Hennessy, defender Dawn McNulty, and goalkeeper Kellie Pickel.</description>
