Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Report - Week 5

Player of the Week
Kristen Tuleja (Mansfield, Mass.), Sophomore, Midfield, Emmanuel College
Tuleja's offense led the Saints to a 2-1 week, as she scored 11 goal and dished out four assists for 15 points in her three games played this week. The sophomore scored the unassisted game-winner in a triple over-time win over Simmons, for the Emmanuel program's first-ever win over the Sharks. Tuleja finished with 5 goals, 2 assists and 6 groundballs on the night. The Mansfield, Massachusetts native scored four goals and dished out an assist in the Saints' 12-11 overtime loss at Nichols. Tuleja shooting was stellar, connecting on 11 of her 15 shots for a 73.3% shooting percentage and landed 13 of her 15 shots on goals for an 86.7 shots-on-goal percentage. Tuleja finished the week with 11 groundballs, won seven draw controls and earned six caused turnovers.

Goalie of the Week
Lauren White (Lynnfield, Mass.), Sophomore, Goalie, Emmanuel College
White led the Saints to a 2-1 week (2-0 in GNAC action), including posting a 11-10 overtime victory over Simmons, for Emmanuel's first-ever win over the Sharks. The Lynnfield, Massachusetts native currently has the Saints undefeated in the conference. White made 24 saves in her 192:56 minutes played this week and picked up a win over Albertus Magnus on Saturday. White's lone loss on the week was a 12-11 overtime loss at Nichols, in which she made 12 saves.
Rookie of the Week
Amanda Wickens (Tyngsboro, Mass.), Freshman, Midfield, Rivier University 
Wickens helped lead the Raiders to a 2-1week. The freshman had seven goals and four assists to total for 11 points and also added 17 groundballs on the week. Wickens has been a strong and consistent player for the Raiders so far this season.
