Kristin Coderre Selected as ECAC New England Defensive Player of the Week

Kristin Coderre, a 5’10” sophomore goalie from Monson, Massachusetts, was selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 23rd

Coderre went a perfect 3-0 in net, recording 20 saves and a goal-against average of 5.00.  She began the week with four saves against Anna Maria College and then picked up 16 saves against Simmons College leading the Lasers to their first GNAC victory.

So far this season, Coderre has picked up 73 saves, averaging 10.4 per game, and has a 3-4 record in the net.

Coderre is receiving this honor from the ECAC for the first time this season and was also recognized by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference as the Goalkeeper of the Week for the first time as well.
