MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Joshua Unas, Regis (Mass.) (Sr., Santa Clarita, Calif./Valencia) Joshua Unas earned one of Regis's two event victories Saturday at Bridgewater State, finishing first in the 100 individual medley. He also earned second-place finishes in the 50 breaststroke in 29.36 seconds and the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.00, plus he anchored the 200 freestyle relay with a 50 free split of 23.80 seconds. |

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Jason Erichsen, Simmons (Sr., Banks, Ore./Oregon Connections Academy) The senior won three individual events with the best times over both Elms College and Gordon College in a double-dual meet on October 27 and also helped the Sharks to a relay win. Erichsen began the meet by helping the Sharks to a win in the 200-yard medley relay, swimming the breaststroke to combine on a time of 1:56.85 to win the relay by nearly 14 seconds. Erichsen won both the 50 and 100-yard breaststroke events with times of 33.32 and 1:11.76, respectively and also added a victory in the 200-yard individual medley with a mark of 2:20.78 to win by nearly seven seconds and contribute a meet-best 27 points for Simmons. |

MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Kevin Dugue, Regis (Mass.) (Fr., Roslindale, Mass./Catholic Memorial) Dugue picked up one of Regis's two victories of the meet, winning the 50 backstroke in 28.57 seconds, more than two seconds ahead of his nearest competitor. Dugue also finished second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:04.07, and he swam the third leg of the 200 freestyle relay, posting a 50 free split of 23.47 seconds, best on the Pride relay squad. |

WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Sarah Singleton, Simmons (Fr., Mission Hills, Calif./Grace Christian Academy) The first year won a pair of individual events and helped the Sharks win both relays with best times over both Gordon College and Elms College in a double-dual meet on October 27. Singleton won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.65 and clocked in at 1:04.17 to finish first in the 100-yard backstroke. She swan the lead backstroke in the 200-yard medley relay to help Simmons post a winning time of 1:56.85 and was the second swimmer in the team's 200-yard freestyle relay win on a mark of 1:45.11. |
WEEK 2 HONOR ROLL
Kelsey Brown, Colby-Sawyer (Fr., Douglas, Mass./Douglas) Brown set a new 100 butterfly school record on Wednesday against Norwich. Brown clocked in at 1:02.02 to win the 100 butterfly and break the previous record mark of 1:02.48. Brown also took top honors in the 100 freestyle, winning by almost three seconds, with the only sub-minute time of 58.71. She added a second place in the 200 IM (2:20.14).
Kyleigh Boatwright, Regis (Mass.) (Fr., Roseville, Calif./Oakmont) In a tri-meet against host Bridgewater State and Eastern Connecticut State, Boatwright began her day with a third-place finish in the 50 backstroke in 30.25 seconds, just behind the winning time of 29.89 seconds. Boatwright then won the 100 backstroke in 1:04.38, ahead of the second-place finisher by just a quarter of a second, and the 100 individual medley in 1:07.13, plus she anchored the second-place 200 freestyle relay squad (1:47.51) with a 50 free split of 26.12 seconds.
Sarah Leonard, Regis (Mass.) (Jr., Brockton, Mass./Brockton) In Saturday's tri-meet with Bridgewater State and Eastern Connecticut State, Leonard won the 50 backstroke in 29.89 seconds, the only swimmer to break 30 seconds in the event. Besides her victory, Leonard led off the 200 medley relay with a 50 back split of 29.42 seconds, helping the squad to a third-place finish in 2:00.53. She also finished second in the 100 freestyle in 59.64 seconds, and then she ended the day by posting a 50 free split of 26.01 seconds in the second leg of the 200 freestyle relay.
