PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Matt Ferreira     Rivier     Jr     Lincoln, RI

Matt has led the Raiders to a 7-1 start while being vertually unstoppable in the middle.  His overall hitting percentage of .492, including two games over .700, leads the Rivier squad.  In the first weekend of action, Matt led the team to a 3-1 mark on the way to Wisconsin Classis Tournament victory, then followed that up with a 4-0 week including an undefeated weekend at the Ramapo College Quad Match.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Drew Corwin     Rivier     Fr     Sudbury, MA

Drew has been very consistant on the right side, doing all the little things right.  He has quietly led the team with 17 servce aces over the past 8 games, including ripping 12 during the Wisconsin Classic.  He is the only freshman to have played in every game this season for the Raiders and continues to make improvements.
