Player of the Week
Jason Chavenson (Upper Dublin, Pa.), Sophomore, 3rd Singles / 2nd Doubles, Johnson & Wales University
Chavenson went a perfect 4-0 on the week for the Wildcats and helped the team to a 2-0 record, including a 6-3 win over Suffolk. The sophomore picked up a pair of wins against the Rams, posting an 8-0 win at the No. 2 doubles with a 6-2, 6-2 win at the third singles spot.

Rookie of the Week
Ian Hyte (Marblehead, Mass.), Freshman, 3rd Singles/2nd Doubles, Norwich University
Hyte went a perfect 4-0 on the week to help the Cadets to two victories over Lyndon State and Anna Maria. The freshman won both of his No. 3 singles matches by a combined score of 24-4 (6-0, 6-2) and (6-2, 6-0). Hyte improved to 7-1 overall on the season at No. 3 singles. The Marblehead, Massachusetts native also teamed with senior Joe Dvorak to dominate both No. 2 doubles matches on the week with 8-1 victories in each. The duo improved to 5-3 on the season. Hyte has been instrumental in leading Norwich to just one win shy of tying the program record for wins in a season, set by the 1998 squad with eight.
