PLAYER OF THE WEEK Brett Mattos, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Senior, F - Mahopac, N.Y.) Mattos enjoyed a productive week with three goals and a pair of assists for eight total points in two GNAC victories. The senior forward registered a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win at Norwich University on Wednesday and tallied two goals and an assist in a lopsided win at Albertus Magnus College on Saturday. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Campbell Shealy, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Fr, M - Lexington, S.C.) Shealy scored a huge goal for the Saints, evening up the score against Norwich at 1-1 after EC fell behind early on. The goal proved to be enough for the teams to play to a draw, marking just the fourth time in program history Emmanuel has picked up a point against the Cadets in GNAC action. |
WEEK 7 HONOR ROLL
Fabyanno Furbino, Regis (Mass.) (So., F - Port St. Lucie, Fla.) - The team's second-leading scorer last season, Furbino finally found his scoring touch, scoring game-winning goals in all three of Regis' wins last week. Monday, against Pine Manor, Furbino broke a scoreless tie by scoring with 4:51 remaining in regulation to give Regis a 1-0 victory. He also scored the game-winners in a 6-0 win over Rivier and a 5-0 win over Becker.
Jordan Casey, Suffolk (Sr., M - East Hampton, Conn.) - Led Suffolk back to the win column with a lone-goal in the 78th minute against Anna Maria.
