WINTHROP, Mass. - Norwich University sophomore forward Jacob Zimmerman and Johnson & Wales University senior forward O'Kyle Corridon have been named to the 2014 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Men's Soccer All-Star Teams. Zimmernan was a First Team selection while Corridon garnered Second Team honors.

Zimmerman scored 18 goals and tallied three assists for 39 points to lead the Cadets with one of the best single-season offensive performances in recent NU history. His 18 goals not only led the team, but it also was the highest total by any player in New England.

His single-season goal total also tied for second all-time in Norwich men's soccer history with Rob Harlow (2007). Zimmerman's 39 points tied for fifth all-time with Mariano Conte (2002) and Dave Costa (1999).

Zimmerman earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) First Team All-Conference honors and was a two-time GNAC Player of the Week selection in 2014. He posted a seven-game goal scoring streak from Sept. 13 to Oct. 4, which helped lead Norwich to a 6-0-1 record over that span.

He helped lead Norwich to its third GNAC final appearance in the last four seasons as well as a 13-7-2 overall record. The Cadets also made their fourth straight ECAC New England Tournament appearance.

O'Corridon, the 2014 GNAC Player of the Year and First Team All-GNAC selection, led the team with 14 goals and 32 points, both second best in the conference. Of his 14 goals, eight of them were for game winners, ranking him first in the conference.

He had nine games with multiple points, including a hat-trick in the win on the road against Anna Maria and a goal and an assist in the GNAC Championship victory against Norwich.

Johnson & Wales finished the 2014 campaign with a 15-6-1 record and captured their second straight GNAC Championship, en route to a bid to the NCAA Division III Championship.
