Player of the Week
Mike Choiniere (Bethany, Conn.), Sophomore, Attack, Albertus Magnus College
Choiniere put together an impressive week, recording 21 points on 12 goals and nine assists to help the Falcons notch the program's first-ever victory. He tallied a tremendous 10 goals and four assists in win over Lyndon State for the first win in program history. The sophomore added a goal in the Falcons' loss to Emmanuel and a goal as well as five assists in the Falcons game vs. Norwich.
Goalie of the Week
Ethan Rettew (Ephrata, Pa.), Junior, Goalie, Saint Joseph's College (ME)
Rettew continues to be strong in goal for the Monks, posting a 5.56 goals against average with a 65.8% save percentage over 140:24 minutes. The junior keeper made nine saves in a 5-OT victory over Anna Maria College on Wednesday and added a career-high 16 stops in a loss to Lasell College on Saturday.
Daniel Johnson (Plymouth, Mass.), Freshman, Attack, Becker College
Johnson set a Becker College record with nine goals in a 13-7 win over Johnson & Wales on Saturday afternoon. Johnson finished the week with 13 goals and an assists as the Hawks went 2-0 in GNAC play this past week.
