PROVIDENCE, R.I. – One of the top scorers in Johnson & Wales University men's basketball history and one of the best in NCAA Division III, Quarry Greenaway is getting an opportunity to continue his career overseas. The All-American recently signed a professional contract to play for CB Cazorla in the Spanish EBA league.

Greenaway ended his JWU career in 2016 as the number two scorer in school history with 2,304 points. That ranks him second all-time in the GNAC and in the NCAA Division III top 30. During his senior year, Greenaway was the NCAA active career leader in points, field goals and free throws.

Ranked sixth in the country at 25.8 points per game. Greenaway helped the Wildcats to the most successful season in school history. Johnson & Wales won its third conference championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.

His final season Greenaway earned Third-Team All-America honors from d3hoops.com. The 2016 GNAC Player of the Year and a d3hoops.com First-Team All-Northeast Region selection, he's just the second player in school history to earn All-America accolades.

Greenaway is the second Wildcat to play professionally in Spain, joining fellow All-American Lamonte Thomas. Thomas played last season for Alcazar in the LEB Plata and this season will be playing in Portugal. CB Cazorla lost in the EBA championship game that would have moved them up to LEB Plata.
