JWU’s Quarry Greenaway Named Cox Sports Rhode Island Division III Player Of The Year

Providence, R.I. – Johnson & Wales sophomore men's basketball standout Quarry Greenaway (Westchester, N.Y.) was named the Cox Sports Rhode Island/Steve McDonald Division III Player of the Year, announced by the organization on Tuesday.

Greenaway, one of the best all-around players in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference, was in the top-10 in nearly every statistical category this season.  He led the conference in minutes per game at 35.7, ranked fifth in scoring with 18.8 points per game, sixth in rebounds at 7.6 per contest, third in steals at 1.7 and sixth in blocks with 0.9 per contest. 

He helped lead the Wildcats to the ECAC Division III New England Championship, the first in school history while posting a school record 23 victories.
