Klippert Earns National Recognition from D3Futbol.com

Newton, Mass.—Jonathan Klippert (Cumberland, ME) of the Lasell College men’s soccer team was named to the D3Futbol.com Team of the Week for the week ending September 14th. The D3Futbol.com Team of the Week recognizes players for outstanding performances during a given week and is chosen by coaches, SID’s and the D3Futbol.com staff.

Klippert was selected after scoring the game winning goal against regional powerhouse Rhode Island College. The goal was tallied as Klippert ripped a fantastic ‘Upper 90’ shot from long distance with less than one minute remaining in the match. Lasell secured the 3-2 win over the Anchormen due to the goal.

The Lasers are currently 4-1-1 this season and will face off next against University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth on Tuesday, September 22nd.
