UNION, N.J. (9/29/19) – Jenna Patrone notched two goals and tallied her 100th career point as the No. 20 Kean University field hockey team extended their winning streak to 11 games with a 6-1 victory over Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Sunday afternoon.

Ja'Carra Jackson finished with two assists and a goal for the Cougars who improve to 11-1 overall. Alexandra Belaire scored the lone goal for the Monks who fall to 8-2 overall.

Kean scored first in the 10th minute when Erin Donnelly directed the ball to Lia DiPiazza and she scored with a high arcing shot for the 1-0 lead. The Cougars held the advantage until the 35th minute when St. Joseph's answered with a set play off a penalty corner.

Kean responded with five unanswered to close out the contest, including two from Patrone and one each from Jackson, Peyton Mann and Bethany Garcia. Donnelly connected with Jackson for the 2-1 lead immediately after the Monks first goal. The Cougars added scores by Patrone and Mann within a 30-second span to push Kean's lead to 4-1 entering the fourth quarter.

The Cougars added two more insurance goals in the fourth with Garcia notching her fourth goal of the season and Patrone scoring her 13th.
