Key Stat of the Game:The Bison struck for three goals in a span of 9:18 to build a 3-0 first-half lead. Kilborn opened the scoring at 17:03 before Utter tallied twice at 21:24 and 26:21, respectively.
Turning Point:Utter's second marker of the contest put Nichols ahead 3-0 late in the first half.
Quick Hits:-Utter is one goal shy of matching her career-high of three, set last season.
-Kilborn scored once as a freshman in 2014, so she has already surpassed her career-high for goals through two games.
-Making her second appearance of the season and first start, Beauregard made three saves in the first half and two in the second.
-Freshman Sarah Hemstock (Northford, Conn.) scored her first collegiate goal for Mount Ida.

-Mount Ida outshot the Bison 17-13 while Nichols held a 6-3 edge in penalty corners.
-Lexi Minicucci (Westfield, Mass.) – who scored twice against the Bison in last season's meeting – led the Mustangs with 11 shots.
