Colby-Sawyer scored the game's first eight points behind a pair of trey's from Wol Majong (Manchester, N.H.) and a Thok lay-in. Thok connected on a trey with 2:22 remaining to build the largest lead of the half at 39-17. Colby-Sawyer out-rebounded the Cadets 26-13 and scored 14 of its 18 second chance points in the first half.

Both teams shot the ball better in the second half, but Colby-Sawyer was more efficient making 14 of 22, while the Cadets hit 10 of 25. Norwich made a mini-spurt in the first four minutes of the second frame with a Brown trey and five points from Tullar to cut the deficit to 12. Colby-Sawyer responded with eight straight points to push the advantage up to 20 and cruised to the 80-56 win.
