The AMCats snapped a six-game losing streak to Nichols with today's win and moved to 16-19-1 all-time against their rivals from central Massachusetts.

1 – Anna Maria senior Kylie Dalbec (Portland, Maine) – potted two goals and dished our two helpers
2 – Anna Maria senior Kayla Lapierre (Worcester, Mass.) – scored the first two goals of the game and added an assist
3 – Nichols sophomore Brianna Kilborn (North Brookfield, Mass.) – struck for two second-half goals, giving her a team-leading five on the season

Lapierre scored two goals in a span of 2:22 in the first half and Dalbec racked up six points – three in each half – to help the AMCats to their ninth win of the season. Nichols trailed 3-0 at halftime and twice cut its deficit to one (3-2 and 4-3) but could not get the equalizer.

Anna Maria scored the first three goals of the game – the first of which came 12:25 into the contest – which forced the Bison to play from behind for most of the contest.

Dalbec's ninth goal of the season with 1:23 to go in the first half send the AMCats into halftime with a 3-0 lead. She collected a rebound off a shot from junior Lauren DiPillo (Canton, Mass.) and chipped the ball into the net.

-The Bison snapped a four-game goal scoring drought when Kilborn scored 2:11 into the second half of play.
-Senior Victoria Utter (Stafford Springs, Conn.) scored her fourth goal of the season in the second half got Nichols.
-Anna Maria outshot the Bison 28-13 on the afternoon, but 17 of those shots came in the first half, when they held a 17-4 edge. Nichols closed to gap to 11-9 over the final 35 minutes.
-Senior Mary Kate Breen (Londonderry, N.H.) started in goal for AMC and made one save before being lifted for sophomore Bryanna Tobin (Deep River, Conn.) in the second half. Tobin made one save in 17+ minutes of action to preserve the win.
-Junior Brooke Marion (South Hadley, Mass.) and sophomore Amy McDonnell (Newbury, Mass.) each picked up an assist for Nichols.
-Freshman McKayla Pratte (Newington, Conn.) was credited with a defensive save for Nichols.
-Junior Katherine Cotton (Kennebunk, Maine) made 10 saves in defeat.
