Emmanuel Women's Basketball Tabbed Preseason Favorite
Emmanuel earned the top spot in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Preseason Women’s Basketball Coaches Poll, the conference office announced on Thursday. The Saints captured the 2008-09 GNAC championship after posting a 22-8 overall record and 11-1 GNAC record. The championship marked the 13th GNAC championship title in the program’s history. MORE>>

St. Joseph (Conn.) Basketball Team Volunteers At Cancer Fundraiser
The St. Joseph College women’s basketball team volunteered at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk Oct. 18 at Bushnell Park in Hartford. Over 1,500 participants braved the rainy weather to walk that day in support of a worthy cause that raised over $300,000. The walk was one of 21 such events held in New England during the month of October. MORE>>
